Hihealth at CPHI Korea 2026: Connecting with Global Partners in Seoul
From August 25 to 27, 2026, we attended CPHI Korea 2026 at COEX in Seoul. This was our first time exhibiting at CPHI Korea, and we were excited to meet customers and partners from all over the world.
The show was busy from day one. Our booth had a steady stream of visitors throughout the three days. People stopped by to look at our products, ask questions, and sit down for longer discussions. We met buyers and R&D people from all over the world. Many of them had already heard about our lipidosome products and came specifically to learn more. Some visitors even came back a second day with colleagues from their company, wanting to show our materials to their team.

We brought our main product line to the show. Our team spent a lot of time walking customers through each product, explaining how the technology works and what kind of data we have behind it.
The product that got the most attention was our Radish Seed Extract for detox and gut health. A lot of customers are looking for gentler alternatives to senna and other strong laxatives, so this one resonated well. We explained that it works at a low dosage, and shared the results from our 320-person clinical trial, where 72.2% of participants saw improved intestinal peristalsis. We also mentioned that we test for 219 laxative components, which is something customers in this space care a lot about.
Our Chickpea Sprout Extract was another highlight. It's a plant-derived source of equol for hormonal balance. We talked about our germination process that increases total isoflavone content by 91 times compared to regular chickpeas, and customers were interested in the bone health data showing a 23% reduction in DPD values. Several female-focused supplement brands spent a good amount of time discussing this one.
We also presented our Tributyrin for gut health. Customers asked about its role as a butyrate donor and how it supports intestinal barrier function. We walked them through the differences between tributyrin and other forms of butyrate, and discussed formulation considerations for capsules and powders.
Our MOS (Mannan Oligosaccharides), derived from hydrolysed konjac fibre, drew interest from customers working on women's intimate care. We explained that it acts as a targeted prebiotic, promoting the growth of beneficial vaginal lactobacilli while inhibiting pathogens like Candida albicans. This is a niche area, but the customers who came by asking about it were very engaged.
For brain health, we showed our Water-soluble Phosphatidylserine (PS). Customers were interested in the 60-fold increase in water solubility and the clinical data showing improvements in verbal memory. A few formulators asked specifically about how it performs in liquid products, since solubility is usually a challenge with this ingredient, and we were able to walk them through our test results.
Besides these main products, we also had our Mulberry Leaf Extract for blood sugar management, Hovenia Dulcis Instant Powder for liver protection, Water-soluble Quercetin for lung health, and Ergothioneine from Boletus Edulis for anti-aging. We did a quick demo at the booth with the Hovenia Dulcis powder, stirring it into a glass of cold water, and people were impressed by how fast it dissolved. We had data sheets and samples on hand for every product, so customers could take something with them after the conversation.

A lot of the discussions went deep into technical details. Customers asked about particle size, stability in different formulations, regulatory documentation, minimum order quantities, and lead times. Our team was able to answer these questions on the spot, which I think made a good impression. Several customers sat with us for 30 minutes or more, going through product specs and talking about how they might use the ingredients in their own products.
We also caught up with some existing customers during the show. It was good to meet face to face, talk about how things are going, and discuss what new products they might be interested in. For new contacts, we exchanged details and agreed to send more information and samples after the show.
Overall, CPHI Korea 2026 was a great success for us. We met more people than we expected, had a lot of meaningful conversations, and came away with a long list of follow-ups. It was a good chance to show what we do and to learn more about what customers in the Korean and Asia-Pacific markets are looking for. We're already looking forward to next year.
