A recent in vitro study showed that grape seed extract (GSE) has potential benefits in controlling emotional changes and improving cognitive function with high levels of various phenomena, particularly oligomeric antonin complexes (OPC).

1. Grape seed extract can control emotions and improve cognition 

Gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a major inhibitor neurotransmitter in the central nervous system - associated with various behaviors such as low mood and anxiety, regulating stress and strengthening memory rules. Gamma aminobutyric acid transaminase (GABA-T)  is an inhibitory factor responsible for catalyzing the degradation of another molecule of GABA. Grape seeds typically account for 38% -52% of the material content in raisins and are a major industrial byproduct in the winemaking process. Due to incomplete extraction of grape seeds during the winemaking process, it is an inexpensive source of antioxidants with significant economic advantages. It is expected to reach 291.15 million US dollars by 2032, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.3% during the forecast period (2024-2032).
