BCAA

Introduction of BACC

BCAA, the full name of which is Branched-Chain Amino Acid, refers to three amino acids with branched side chains in their molecular structures, namely leucine, isoleucine and valine. BCAA is one of the eight essential amino acids for the human body, but our body cannot produce them, which means that we must consume BCAA through food. This type of amino acid promotes anabolism (muscle growth) in two special ways: ① promoting insulin release, ② promoting growth hormone release.
However, there have always been two problems with BCAA in the application process: 1. Poor water solubility, 2. Strong hygroscopicity. This greatly limits the further application of BCAA. Based on this, Hihealth has launched moisture-proof and instant BCAA microcapsule powder.

Functions of BACC

1.Promotes Muscle Growth
BCAA (1)
BCAA (2)
Ingestion of a supplement containing BCAAs while following an 8-week resistance training program resulted in a greater decrease in percent body fat, an increase in lean mass, and 10-RM strength gains on the bench press and squat vs. ingestion of a whey supplement or a sports drink.
2.Relieve muscle soreness
BCAA (3)
BCAAs supplementation can be efficacious on outcomes of exercise-induced muscle damage, as long as the extent of muscle damage was low-to-moderate, the supplementation strategy combined a high daily BCAAs intake (>200 mg kg−1 day−1) for a long period of time (>10 days); it was especially effective if taken prior to the damaging exercise.
3.Preventing sports fatigue
BCAA (4)
BCAA (5)
BCAA can lower the concentration of serotonin, a central fatigue substance, during endurance exercise, which subsequently can reduce the concentrations of muscle damage substances such as CK and LDH and enhance exercise performance.
4.Prevent liver disease
BCAA (6)
Research shows BCAAs are more beneficial than other supplements in reducing complications that lead to liver disease.
For cirrhotic patients with chronic encephalopathy, in the 3-month period, BCAA treatment was superior to casein for all the parameters of the PSE index, which nearly halved in BCAA-treated patient.
