1.Anti-aging
Biochemistry and Cell Biology of Aging summarizes decades of aging research, attributing the aging mechanism to two major issues: oxidative free radical damage and decreased NAD+levels. After entering the body, NADH can efficiently decompose into NAD+and hydrogen, which not only increases the level of NAD+, but also makes hydrogen the most ideal substance for efficiently clearing free radicals. 2.NADH increases ATP energy in cardiac cells
The research from the University of Graz has been published in the British Journal of Pharmacology, demonstrating that NADH can pass through the cell membrane without alteration. The researchers placed NADH in the heart cells and then analyzed the concentrations of NADH and ATP in the cells.
